Pondering... Over Coffee

Good Morning! So, since I mentioned I got some SOHO Tweed this past weekend, I thought that maybe those of you who actually knit (cause it seems I'm not one of them at the moment) would like to see what I came home with. I got 6 skeins, 3 natural with flecks of browns and yellows, and 3 skeins of a beautiful deep green with flecks of purple, yellow, and a little red.
Now I just need to figure out what they will become. Am I the only one who sees yarn, has to have it, buys it, and has no idea whatsoever what to do with it? I'm assuming not... I'm sure that sometime when I'm holding it and studying the colors and textures it will come to me in a vision as to what this lovely little bundle should become.

And for Diana, a little close up:

(Oh yeah, Dave has a Cafepress shop. Or I think he still does. Ask him about it, I'm sure he'll let you shop there... Hehehehe......)

Paul, there's a closet in my home that's ample proof that you are not the only one who buys "gotta have it!" yarns with no project in mind.

Nice green...

Love the yarn. Honey you aren't the only one. Eventually it will come to you what it wants to be.

Nice tweedy yarns! I like that hemlock green.
And, speaking of hemlock, WHEN did you get that mug? I didn't know anyone got anything over there. Hmmm... (I want a review on their quality, ok?)

I very rarely know what project I am buying yarn for, other than socks. It will tell you what it wants to be eventually. It's yummy.

Paul,

Close your eyes and ponder...then roll naked in the yarn..it will come to you. Oh, and take photos and either e-mail them to me or post them to your blog.

I saw a picture on a blog the other day of a naked man in the bathtub covered with yarn...that's plan b for you.

:o)

And that makes me the freak who usually has a plan when I buy yarn.

First the wash cloths and now this...

LMAO @ Ann's plan B. Yeah, do that one! Plan A, I'm thinking is to knit me a really cool sweater. I talked to the yarn when you weren't listening... and it said, "I want to be with you!" So, like... now you have a plan! *grins* (yes I'm going to bed now.. I need more hours in the day.) Love you, hon.

tadaahhh,

Ann has this thing about me rolling around naked in things. First it was Kool Aid Packages when we were all dyeing yarn. Now it's rolling around naked in the yarn itself. I'm kinda curious about what she actually teaches in her classes, and also what she asks her students to do for extra credit......
